Leona Lewis reveals secret heartache as groom Dennis Jauch's father passed away three weeks before their wedding... but believe freak electrical storm was a 'sign' from him
Leona Lewis and her new husband Dennis Jauch were left heartbroken when his father passed away just three weeks before their wedding.
The couple exchanged vows on July 27 in Tuscany at Sting and Trudie Styler's lavish 16th-century estate, Il Palagio, but there was one very important person missing from the event - his beloved dad Lutz.
The bride and groom took comfort in a freak electrical storm over the vineyard, however, which they believed was a sign his late father was looking over them.

The ceremony had to be moved to the chapel at the last minute when the 'craziest' storm hit, resulting in the guests being packed into a far smaller space than anticipated.
Leona was grateful for the spontaneous move, saying it gave the wedding an 'intimate and special' feeling.
She enthused to HELLO! magazine: 'I could see every single persons face, my friends were crying and the acoustics were incredible. I feel like we were meant to be in that space!'
'Dennis and I have been through so much these past couple of weeks and feeling all the love in there was so overwhelming and powerful.'

Dennis added: 'There couldn't have been more of a sign. Dad made sure we all knew he was there!'
Former X Factor winner Leona, 34, wore a full-length white gown by Israeli designer Mira Zwillinger before changing into a blush pink tulle gown for dinner.
She then donned a crystal embellished jumpsuit for a reception that continued until 7am and featured a drag queen and tattoo artist.
Leona walked down the aisle to Ave Maria, in front of 180 family members and friends, including Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan, and The Voice UK winner Jermaine Jackman.

Sting's grand piano, which sits in his recording studio, was played during the reception.
The couple opted for a vegan wedding cake and enlisted Sicilian dessert stylist and pastry chef Marco Failla to create a version of the iconic millefeuille, with fresh flowers, berries and 24k gold leaf.
The couple met in 2010 when Dennis was a backing dancer on Leona's Labyrinth tour and he proposed on their eighth anniversary last year.
Dennis is a hip-hop world champion who won Germany's version of So You Think You Can Dance? He has worked with Beyoncé, Kylie Minogue, Alicia Keys, and Pitbull.
